REQUIREMENTS:
1.
The Seniors Championships will be played August 12 on
the Torrey Pines South Course and August 19 on the North Course.
2.
The Championships are open to all TPMGC members 55
YEARS AND OLDER.
3.
Non-senior players may signup but cannot compete and
will be used only if the field is not filled by seniors. If there are a
sufficient number of non-seniors; a separate flight will be set up
otherwise the entry fee for non-seniors will be waived.
4.
The entry fee for the tournament participants is
$20.00 per player.
5.
If you can’t play both days it is recommended that
you don’t signup.
6.
If you don’t play both days you will be ineligible
for awards.
TOURNAMENT
RULES:
1. Write in your age as of your last birthday following your name on the score
card. If you fail to so, you will automatically be placed in the non-senior
group.
2.
This is low gross and low net stroke play event.
3.
The regular rules of golf apply.
4.
Each player plays his own ball and records a gross
score for every hole.
5.
A score card will be kept for each 4-some.
6.
Use the preprinted cards if available; otherwise use
a course furnished card.
7.
If a course furnished card is used; each player’s last
name, GHIN number and full course handicap must be on the card to prevent
disqualification.
8.
Total each player’s GROSS score and enter in the space provided on the card.
9.
Figure the NET score by subtracting your
course handicap from the total gross score and enter in the space provided
on the card.
10.The card must be
signed by the scorer, attested by another player and dated to avoid
disqualification.
11.
Post the ADJUSTED GROSS score as a T-score (T) round.
AWARDS:
1.
Low gross score – TPMGC Senior Champion
2.
Low net scores plus ties for each flight
(approximately 33% of the field in each flight)
3.
Best Low net score plus ties in each flight for each
round
4.
Closest to the pin holes 3 and 16 on the South Course
5.
Closest to the pin holes 3 and 17 on the North Course
